Rollover Prevention Programme
The Road Transport Forum and our associations are determined to do everything we can to arm our drivers with the most up-to-date information to help them prevent truck rollover.
We know that rollover occurrence can be reduced by providing drivers, transport operators, loaders, clients and related stakeholders with a better appreciation of the range of factors affecting heavy vehicle stability and handling performance.
The goal of the Rollover Prevention Programme series is to ensure that every truck driver in New Zealand returns home safely after work.
36 Rollover Prevention Safer Journeys seminars were held in 2018 to nearly 1000 drivers and operators around the country. This brings the total number of seminars over the last three years to 159 to nearly 5500 participants. Many thanks to Jeff Fleury, NZTA, association area executives and everyone else involved in the Programme.
If you or your company wish to hold a seminar please fill out the form below and send it through to your local area executive or Mark Ngatuere at firstname.lastname@example.org. More seminars will be arranged for 2019. Please watch this space for information relating to those.
Please also see NZTA’s website for information on how to prevent rollover.
